Grade/Pave Laborer

Job Summary:
The ideal candidate will be physically fit and capable of difficult manual labor. In this position you will perform all phases of asphalt work, from the ground guy for the grading crew to running heavy machinery on the paving crew. You will work with a young, motivated group of people and will learn under some of the best people in the business.
Job Responsibilities:
- Work with a rake and shovel
- Drive company vehicles
- Operate heavy machinery
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Prior experience in other applicable construction work, or at minimum performed some type of labor work
- Physically fit and capable of working in hot weather
- Must be able to pass a drug screening
- Must have your own mode of transport and a valid driver's license
Preferred Skills and Qualifications:
- Previous experience in paving or grade work
Compensation: $18-$25/hour starting
