If so, Multnomah County Facilities and Property Management Division (F&PM) is seeking an Electrical Services Program Manager and we want to hear from you!
Job Responsibilities:
In this position you will:
- Provide a variety of high level administrative and management duties in the development and implementation of policies, procedures, and processes to operate, maintain, and repair facilities and building systems for all county owned and leased facilities.
- Provide strategic policy and program development, identify goals and objectives, improve program performance and outcomes, and recommend program and administrative controls and improvements. This will require strong experience and knowledge of facilities management and construction project management best practices.
- Collaborate closely with the leadership of other sections within the division and other departments.
- Lead and supervise union-represented trade employees and contractors.
- Be responsible for the development and management of annual operating budgets.
- Be responsible for contract administration (overseeing preparation of contracts, negotiating revisions, changes, and additions to agreements).
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent years of experience
- Four (4) years of increasingly responsible experience in facilities and property management or construction project management
- Experience overseeing, supervising, and/or managing employees
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience applying the principles and practices of effective budget development, management, oversight and administration
- Demonstrated skill in effectively communicating and collaborating with a wide range of stakeholders
- A valid driver’s license
- All finalists must pass a criminal records check and a professional reference check
Preferred Skills and Qualifications:
- Government, union, and/or public sector experience is strongly preferred to ensure understanding of the various levels of staff, policies and procedures, budget process, etc.
- Experience with a Maintenance Based work system for tracking and assigning work
- Experience with Workday reporting systems
Compensation: $81,088.00 - $124,272.27 Annually
