Description

Buildskape is looking for a construction professional to join our team as a Construction Project Site Foreperson. We are a minority-owned CM/GC firm currently working with several clients on public and private commercial tenant improvement projects in office, education, medical and retail. In our entrepreneurial environment the right candidate will have the opportunity to learn and grow as we grow. We understand that our team members have personal professional goals, and we work to help them achieve those goals.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years’ experience in commercial construction with a general understanding of how construction projects come to life on the jobsite. As a Foreperson at Buildskape you will work under the supervision of the Superintendent to:

·Ensure that the jobsite is always safe, organized, and clean.
·Ensure that sub-contractors are maintaining a professional environment on your jobsite and respecting our clients, your teammates, and other stakeholders.
·Maintaining quality control on all projects to ensure that we deliver the highest quality results for our clients.
·Assist in maintaining the project schedule and communicating on-the-ground changes to the Superintendent in a timely manner.

We are looking for the following qualifications and/or experience:
·A high school diploma or GED. Trade apprenticeship and experience are preferred.
·You have a minimum of 3 years’ experience in a commercial construction environment, and you feel comfortable interfacing with all the different people one encounters on a jobsite (owner, architect, tradespeople, inspectors, etc.)
·You are comfortable using email (Outlook) to communicate with the Superintendent.
·You can take high level direction from the Superintendent and follow through on that direction to deliver the jobsite and project results the Superintendent is after.
·You want to learn and grow in an exciting environment where your ideas, opinions, and expertise are a valued and integral part of an organization.
What Buildskape can offer you:
·A competitive salary and benefits package including comprehensive health and dental insurance for you and your dependents, retirement benefits, and paid vacation.
·A true team environment where you are valued and appreciated.
·Unlimited growth potential. We are just getting started. Those who join our team now will discover new and different opportunities as our growth creates the need for new positions.
If this seems like an opportunity you would like to explore further, please send us the following:

·Your resume including construction and non-construction experience. We value diversity in work experience so don’t limit what you show us to construction.
·A list of up to 5 projects you have recently completed with an outline of the scope, duration, and complexity of the project, and a summary of your roles and responsibilities on the project team.
·A brief statement about your career and personal goals for the next 5 years. There are no right answers to this…we just want to get some insight into who you are and where you want to go in the future.
Thank you for considering this opportunity!
