Job Summary:
Repairs and maintains machinery and mechanical equipment such as engines, motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and production machines and equipment appropriate for personal skill set and certifications.
Job Responsibilities:
- Primary responsibility will be general mechanic duties in food manufacturing facility
- Build, fabricate, assemble, install, repair and/or overhaul different types of machinery and equipment as needed
- Follow specifications of equipment manufacturers and internal specs
- Complete maintenance records as required
- Conduct routine maintenance on equipment or facilities
- Repair and/or upgrade all facilities of TBI including electrical, plumbing and HVAC systems
- May supervise other maintenance workers, TBI staff or outside contractors
- Perform other work as assigned
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- A High School Diploma or G.E.D certificate
- 2 or more years of progressive and practical experience of maintenance work in a manufacturing environment
Preferred Skills and Qualifications:
- Maintenance experience in the food industry
Compensation: $22.00-$28.00/hourly plus differential and overtime
