Compensation: $36-$42/hr

Use creative problem solving skills to provide solutions for Hyphn customers, lead coordinate project resources, ensure projects are completed to Hyphn standard and feel a real sense of pride when completing a project on time, on budget, and on exceptional quality.

Job Responsibilities:
-Have and maintain Oregon and Washington state certifications for Limited Energy (Low Voltage) Class A
-Maintains communication with Lead Journeyman and other project management resources to keep project team aligned on timelines, obstacles, and changes
-Perform New Commercial Data, Voice, Fiber Optic and Paging cabling
-Work involves driving a company vehicle; using hand tools; climbing ladders; using scissor lifts
-Perform Customer Instruction on System Operation
-Perform System Testing, document and communicate any issues as they arise
-Follows all company safety policies and procedures; and reports all accidents, hazards, and equipment
-Attends and participates in various meetings within the project as necessary
-Performs other duties according to Hyphn’s methods and standards

Required Skills & Qualifications:
-Basic to advanced technical skills and knowledge of telecommunications industry and/or installation including voice, data and video structured cabling
-Industry specific Manufacturer Certifications and BICSI training and/or Certifications preferred. Must be interested and able to attain these licenses
-State of Oregon technicians must possess or acquire an Limited Energy Class A license
-A strong working knowledge of TIA and BICSI Standards; including installation, troubleshooting and service.
-Working knowledge of building codes, electrical codes, communication standards and experience in communications cabling is strongly preferred.
-Ability to follow blueprints, notes and specifications to meets the job
-Basic written and verbal communications
-Must maintain a valid driver’s license with clean driving record

-Experience with construction and adherence to large and small project scheduling
-Enjoys hands-on problem solving in a fast paced work environment
-Ability to work well both independently and as part of a professional team

-Self-motivated with a positive and professional attitude
-Excellent communication and listening skills
-Strong team-building, customer service, and interpersonal skills
-Must possess good decision making skills, be very organized and detail-oriented
-Knowledge of and ability to perform basic math
-Basic computer skills using Google G-Suite (i.e., Docs, Sheets, Gmail, Slides, etc.)
