Laborer

Job Summary: AEC is seeking Laborers who demonstrate a strong work ethic & excitement for learning new things. Candidates selected to join our team will have the opportunity to travel, complete new tasks each day, & learn from a team of seasoned professionals. Successful candidates will be based out of our Kelso, WA location & will be deployed within our Environmental Division. Our Environmental team engages in a wide array of projects including Remedial treatment, Stormwater system installation and& maintenance, Contaminated site remediation, Demolition, and Culvert installation.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
• Ability to lift or move up to 50 lbs. independently
• Current licenses necessary to operate a motor vehicle
• Physical ability to climb, kneel, crouch or crawl
• Ability to work with a team to achieve job tasks
• Must be a self‐driven and resourceful professional with the ability to solve problems
• An ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‐paced environment
• Must be able to safely wear a respirator
• Must be able to successfully pass a Federal Background Check

Preferred Skills and Qualifications:
• High School diploma or equivalent
• 40-Hour HAZWOPER training and 8-Hour HAZWOPER Refresher (required pre-employment)
• Certified Forklift Operator
• CPR, First Aid/AED Certification
• Bloodborne Pathogen Certification
• TWIC Card (preferred)

Compensation: $20 - $30/hr DOE
