Maintenance Electrician / Technician

Job Summary: We are seeking skilled Maintenance Electricians/Technicians for direct-hire roles with two reputable and growing manufacturing employers in the Albany and Corvallis, OR area. Job Responsibilities: Key Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot, install, and maintain industrial electrical systems including AC/DC motor controls, PLCs (Allen Bradley Control Logix), and general wiring
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production and processing equipment
• Repair/replace motors, pumps, and other electro-mechanical systems
• Welding tasks as needed (steel, stainless, and alloy materials)
• Work with pneumatics, hydraulics, and mechanical systems
• Perform general maintenance on plant buildings including electrical, plumbing, and lighting systems
• Use of standard test equipment (DMM, VOM, Megger, etc.)
• Review and document maintenance work orders and solutions using CMMS systems
• Ensure compliance with all safety and regulatory codes
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support efficient operations

Required Skills and Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED required

Preferred:

• Technical trade school, apprenticeship, or associate’s degree in industrial maintenance or electrical field
• Valid Oregon Electrician’s license (LME, PJ, or J) or a license from a reciprocal state
• Minimum 5 years of experience in industrial/manufacturing maintenance
• Proficiency in troubleshooting and programming PLCs (Allen Bradley preferred)
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office and Outlook
• Strong understanding of safety practices in an industrial environment

Bonus: Mechanical millwright skills, CMMS experience, and arc welding skills

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to climb stairs/ladders, bend, stoop, crouch, and lift up to 50 pounds
• Comfortable with extended periods of standing/walking in a plant environment (dust, noise, chemicals, varying temperatures)

Compensation: $37-$50/hr DOE
