Job Summary: General Position Summary: Responsible for maintaining the facility and grounds in a safe and efficient manner by organizing and directing the daily operations of the facility maintenance staff and services. Oversees and participates in the performance of a wide range of facilities maintenance and repair activities for the club.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Supervises daily maintenance, service and repair activities for all facility equipment including swimming pool equipment, boilers, elevators, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, fixtures, furnishings, landscape, maintenance painting and all other aspects of the facility.
  • Directly supervises and coordinates the day-to-day activities of the Day and Night Maintenance personnel, oversees the assignment and completion of maintenance work orders by staff, guides and assists staff with complex tasks and performs quality inspections of work. Places service calls and orders for parts and equipment necessary to maintain facilities operations.
  • Assists with personnel management activities such as hiring, training and development, promotion, discipline, and termination when warranted; conducts timely and measurable performance evaluations of Maintenance staff.
  • Provides regular and on-going feedback on job performance and nurtures a cohesive and productive team

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Minimum of five years of operations and maintenance experience.
  • Minimum of three years of supervisory experience in facilities maintenance or project management.
  • Must have a working understanding of electrical, plumbing, and mechanical equipment.
  • Competent and comfortable with Windows Office Suite.

  • Must be able to effectively supervise multiple employees at one time in an fast-paced environment.
  • Must be able to manage multiple projects at one time and ensure timely completion.
  • Must be able to provide exceptional customer service even during stressful situations.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively in both written and verbal communications.
  • Must be able to provide safety training to maintenance technicians in both one-on-one and group settings.
  • Must be able walk and stand for long periods of time on concrete floors.
  • Must be able to lift, pull, and push up to 50 lbs.
  • Use of basic tools and equipment to repair plumbing, electrical, HVAC, machinery, furniture, and structures relevant to club facilities.
  • Use of computer data bases, CMMS system, Office Suite and time tracking software.

Compensation: 75000-85000
