Job Summary: The Maintenance Technician position is responsible for performing preventative and corrective maintenance on the production and company facilities. The schedule is M-F 2pm to 11pm shift differential pay: $1.50 per hour for hours worked after 6pm
Job Responsibilities:
- Proficient in working with cutting torch, grinder, drill press, and hand tools.
- Proficient in working with motors, brakes and clutches.
- Proficient in welding and metal fabrications.
- Proficient in pneumatic systems.
- Proficient in troubleshooting hardwire controls of 480 and 120 volts.
- Assist production in breakdowns.
- Complete preventative maintenance as scheduled.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Must have high school diploma or GED.
- Must have PLC experience.
- Must have mechanical and electrical skills.
- Must be available to work off shifts.
Preferred Skills and Qualifications:
- Prefer food manufacturing maintenance experience.
- LME Preferred
- Work involves daily exposure to unusual elements, such as dirt, dust, fumes, darkness, and/or noise.
Compensation: $32.00 -$39.00
