Job Summary: JOB SUMMARY Responsible for performance of routine preventative maintenance and minor repair of building equipment such as lights, plumbing fixtures, office furniture, heating cooling ventilation systems, and other minor building maintenance tasks requiring a variety of mechanical skills. This is a swing shift / mid shift full time hourly position, spanning 11am - 7:30pm, 12pm-8:30pm, and 1:00pm-9:30pm (with some potential flexibility). 40 hours per week.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

  • Performs preventive maintenance on all equipment and mechanical systems per prescribed procedures.
  • Uses diagnostic equipment in the detection of system/equipment failure or malfunction.
  • Installs and repairs all specialty systems and equipment within the club.
  • Maintains records and work reports on all work performed, including pool and boiler chemistry and other associated equipment as needed.
  • Works as part of a team in the implementation of remodel projects; may necessitate performing support work within another trade area.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • High School degree or equivalent, completion of a trades apprenticeship program leading to the equivalent of a journey card or license; or the equivalent in education, training and experience;
  • Four years of general experience in building/facilities maintenance, construction, or an additional trade. Applicants must have the skill in minor electrical repairs and replacement of switches, ballast and outlets; safe and effective application and operation of tools and equipment of the trades; troubleshooting, diagnosing and performing building maintenance and repairs.
  • Possess the knowledge of the methods, practices and tools used in general facility maintenance including electrical, plumbing, mechanical and related hardware and software equipment; facility maintenance hazards and safety precautions, including applicable OSHA standards; installation and maintenance of domestic water, wastewater and vent systems; uniform plumbing code; installation and maintenance of irrigation, fire life-safety, pool

Compensation: 40000-55000/year
