Job Summary:
Coordinators are an essential part of the Maintenance Operation’s Divisions. These positions are key to planning, scheduling, and coordinating a large volume of the division’s dynamic workload. They utilize task and resource management to prioritize and shift work efforts accordingly in response to unplanned changes in daily, weekly, and monthly work plans.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Coordinate planning, scheduling, and coordinating all division work with Supervisors
- Support PBOT’s Strategic Plan, PBOT MO Strategic Plan and Transportation Justice Goals
- Organize work plans, identifying emerging problems with work orders, disseminate information and effectively communicate by phone or email with multiple different group stakeholders identifying opportunities to take corrective actions
- Implement and coordinate participation in strategies regarding moderate to complex programs and projects
- Provide high-quality customer service and support to business partners within PBOT (Parking Services Group, Traffic Systems Group, Director’s Office, Active Transportation Division, Projects Delivery Division), Bureau of Environmental Services, Portland Water Bureau, Portland Parks and Recreation, Mayor’s Office, internal Maintenance Operation Managers, Supervisors, and crew maintenance staff
- Collaborate with Senior Program Manager to develop quarterly work plans, prioritize work and assist Supervisors
- Experience in analysis, planning, organizing and/or evaluating programs in a public agency or customer service-related field
- Ability to demonstrate high level independent decision making; understanding the overall effect those choices have of prioritizing work and completion of small, medium, and large projects
- Experience providing responsive customer service and communication to a variety of technical and non-technical stakeholders with minimal supervision
- Experience utilizing multiple database systems, including standard business applications e.g., MS Office 365, specialized software for work order/asset management, data tracking and analysis, and communication
Compensation: $59,072.00 - $109,512.00 Annually
