Job Summary: Influence organizations to maintain environmental performance and limit Intel's environmental footprint.
Job Responsibilities: Prepare and submitting required environmental reports, indicators, permit applications/ modifications with high degree of quality. Represent your region in cross-site teams to increase environmental awareness, share learning, increase innovation, and drive synergy throughout Intel. Lead compliance self-assessments to gauge the health of the environmental programs and identify areas needed for improvement to ensure regulatory compliance is met. Be the liaison to regulatory agencies for site specific sustaining environmental program support e.g., Clean Water Services, Environmental Protection Agency, Oregon Department of Environmental Quality, City of Hillsboro, Department of State Lands. Develop solutions to problems utilizing formal education and engineering judgment. Deliver presentations to senior management and/or key stakeholders.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
The candidate must possess at least 1 of the 2 following combinations of degrees plus relevant experience: Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Chemistry, Meteorology, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering or closely related field with: 4+ years of experience in environmental regulatory compliance from a regulated high-tech manufacturing facility, regulatory agency or environmental consulting.
Master's degree in Chemical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Chemistry, Meteorology, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or close related field with: 3+ years of experience in environmental regulatory compliance from a regulated high-tech manufacturing facility, regulatory agency or environmental consulting. 4+ years of experience: Leading and driving air permitting and compliance for large, complex facilities including a thorough understanding of federal air regulations.
Preferred Skills and Qualifications: Working knowledge of Oregon State air regulatory requirements
