Job Summary:
This trade involves the cleaning of surfaces to prepare for tile, this includes interior walls, showers, tubs, counter tops, floors, stairs, and structure exteriors. The finisher sets up materials and supplies, this includes mixing mortar. The Tile Setter trade involves meticulous installation of ceramic, marble, and granite tiles. Tiles can be installed in homes or commercial buildings and can be done in on the interior or exterior of these structures. Receive consistent wage increases throughout the program!
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- 4 Years - 8,000 OJT Hours
- 4 Years of Related Training Coursework
- Proof of Age (ID or Driver’s License)
Compensation: $14.80 - $29.97
(minimum starting wage to average journey worker wage)
