Vehicle Maintenance Program Coordinator
The Vehicle Maintenance Program Coordinator oversees the management and coordination for the OHSU vehicle fleet, grounds equipment, snow removal equipment and other miscellaneous. equipment. This position performs repairs and maintenance and provides guidance to lower level auto mechanics who assist with major repair work as well as coordinates repairs and service with vendors. The vehicle maintenance program coordinator works independently to develop an effective, proactive and fiscally responsible maintenance program. This includes preemptive customer communication and scheduling, coordination with other facilities departments, and program development/process improvement. This position also provides expert consulting on complex equipment design and procurement.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) certified: A Series (would consider other applicable series).
- Four years of journey-level automotive mechanic’s experience diagnosing and performing a variety of complex repair work on automobiles, trucks, or industrial equipment OR Completion of an approved automotive mechanic program from an accredited institution and three years of journey-level automotive mechanic’s experience.

Compensation: $29.75 - $34.86 per hour, DOE
