Commercial and Residential Painter and Crew Leader

Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced and motivated Commercial and Residential Painter and Crew Leader to join our team. In this role, you will not only perform high-quality painting work on various surfaces in both commercial and residential settings but also lead a team of painters. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, exceptional leadership skills, and a commitment to delivering outstanding results.

Job Responsibilities:

• Lead and supervise a team of painters, ensuring quality workmanship and adherence to project timelines.
• Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and repairing as needed.
• Select, mix, and apply paint, varnish, and other finishes using various techniques.
• Coordinate daily tasks and assign responsibilities to crew members.
• Conduct site inspections to monitor progress and quality, addressing any issues promptly.
• Communicate effectively with clients and employees verbally and in writing.
• Maintain a safe and organized work environment, ensuring compliance with safety regulations.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Commercial and residential painting experience, including interior and exterior
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Previous leadership or supervisory experience
• Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Regular and timely attendance is an essential function of this position
• Knowledge of painting materials, techniques, and safety standards
• Pass a background check and drug testing Must have drivers license

Compensation: $28-30/hr
