Job Summary:

Our team does a variety of projects and the ideal candidate should possess the skills one might have to build a home from the ground up, plus clean the gutters when needed. If you have experience in home repair and improvement, residential remodeling, and a varied background that gave you the opportunity to dabble in our other areas, you may be the well-rounded person we are looking for!

Job Responsibilities:

  • Able to work as a team and independently
  • High level of ability to do:
    • demo
    • site protection
    • framing
    • drywall repair (both nailing and finishing)
    • window and door installation
    • exterior trim
    • cabinets
    • windows
    • doors
    • moldings
    • interior finish work
  • Experience with Kitchen and Bathroom remodeling, and other Residential Remodeling
  • Ability to read and understand blueprints and detailed specifications
  • Advanced knowledge of:
    • housing
    • remodeling design and construction processes
    • local building codes
    • maintenance practices
    • repair techniques
  • Customer service and client interaction skills
  • Able to supervise the work of others on the job site (Apprentices and Truck Drivers)
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Excellent problem analysis, diagnostic, and solution skills
  • Self-motivated and a can-do attitude
  • Time management skills
  • Ability to deliver and produce projects within approved time schedules and budgets
  • Organized and detail oriented

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • The right tools to do the job
  • Pickup truck with canopy, or utility type van
  • Good driving record
  • Able to pass required pre-employment screenings including criminal background, MVR, and drug screenings
  • Able to perform physical exertion including: carrying, climbing, crawling, stooping, squatting, pushing, pulling, hauling, and lifting as much as 100 pounds
  • Maintain company and OSHA safety requirements
  • Obtain/maintain current First Aid/CPR certification

Preferred Skills & Qualifications:

  • Experience in drywall installation and painting
  • Experience using Microsoft Project

Compensation: Residential Union Wages
