Founded in 1989, Oregon Tradeswomen helps to transform lives by building community and economic independence through empowerment, training, career education, advocacy, and leadership development in the skilled trades.

Director of Programs and Strategic Impact

The Director of Programs and Strategic Impact oversees and manages all agency programs, including those housed in the  Pathways to Success and Advocacy teams to achieve outcomes for programming, including support services, placement,  retention, and apprenticeship-readiness training. This position drives the overarching vision and direction of agency  programming and is responsible for achieving strategic outcomes and meeting performance goals, which are related to the organizational strategic plan, grants and contracts, and our program work.

The position requires collaboration as a member of the organization’s leadership team to support agency strategic plan, staff, and foster an inclusive, equitable and productive nonprofit environment. In addition, the position is responsible for managing and deepening community and industry partnerships to further programmatic goals.

Training Manager

Thank you for your interest in joining our passionate team committed to helping women achieve financial independence while building equity in the construction trades. 

The Training Manager will oversee the holistic implementation of all aspects of Oregon Tradeswomen's (OTW) Pathways to Success training programs, including the 192-hour Trades and Apprenticeship Career Class and other specialized industry trainings. Develop and maintain partnerships with industry and registered apprenticeship programs. This position also requires the ability to work with adult jobseekers who may be experiencing multiple barriers to employment as well as diverse populations. Responsible for maintaining and overseeing Oregon Bureau of Labor and Industries pre-apprenticeship training program certification. Manage and facilitate Industry Advisory Council to ensure on-going linkages with industry. Responsible for supporting professional development of instructors; maintaining and implementation of industry best and promising practices related to pre-apprenticeship..

Pathways Program Admissions Coordinator

Thank you for learning more about joining our passionate team committed to helping women achieve financial independence while building equity in the construction trades. 

This position requires strong organization skills, administrative support, and strong customer service skills. This position also requires the ability to work with adult jobseekers who may be experiencing multiple barriers to employment as well as diverse populations. The Pathways Program Admissions Coordinator is responsible for managing student files, assisting with participant intakes, participant forms; participant registration with the workforce system (external database); data entry on participant attendance; homework assignments, and other support to ensure success of program participants.
