Job Summary: Hunter-Davisson, Inc. is a commercial HVAC-R Design Build Mechanical Contractor seeking an Installer to join our growing team. Job Responsibilities:
1. Set/hang HVAC-R equipment (to include refrigerant piping and hydronic piping)
2. Low-voltage wiring for those with a Limited Energy-B License.
3. Inspect, modify and install HVAC equipment including refrigeration and air conditioning compressors, receivers, condensers, chillers, water cooling towers, forced air converted units, pumps, automatic and hand valves, expansion vales.
4. Replace defective parts in units and equipment or units/equipment as a whole.
5. Establish and adjust work sequences to meet construction schedules, using knowledge of capacities of equipment and assigned personnel.
6. Perform a variety of duties which may change often and rate information using measurable standards.
7. Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, or products specifications to determine sequence and methods of fabrication, assembling, and installing HVAC-R products.
8. Comply with all aspects of company safety program.
9. Interpret company policies to workers and enforce safety regulations.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Completion of the HVAC Apprenticeship program.
- Completion of PCC HVAC-R courses or an equivalent program.
- Active Oregon or Washington state-issued HVAC Journey card.
- Must have a minimum of Type I and II CFC certification.
- Valid Oregon or Washington driver's license.
- Oregon Limited Energy-B or WA 06-A License required.
- Oregon Brazing certification required.
- Working knowledge of Cooling tower and boiler water treatment and Welding and soldering techniques.
- Knowledge of building codes, ordinances, and regulations of State and local authorities pertaining to HVAC, refrigeration, and controls.

Compensation: $35 to $50
