Job Summary:
This is an Apprenticeship Program:
- 4 Years
- 8,000 OJT Hours
- 4 Years of Related Training Coursework
Job Responsibilities:
This is a specialized pipefitter trade with an emphasis on fire protection.
- Sprinkler Fitter professionals build, install, and maintain wet and dry pipe fire suppression systems.
- Working with precision tools to measure, cut, and install piping in commercial and residential locations.
- Sprinkler Fitter Professionals weld, connect, test, service, and repair sprinkler pipelines.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Proof of Age (ID or Driver’s License)
- High School Completion or GED Equivalent
Preferred Skills and Qualifications:
- Are you comfortable with heights and working on scaffolding and ladders?
- Do you have high attention to detail?
- Can you easily visualize something based on a plan or a diagram?
- Are you a self-starter and driven to complete a task?
Compensation: $17.83 - $35.65 hourly
(minimum starting wage to average journey worker wage)
